I have a strong dislike for HP. They have my laptop right now because after sending it to them the first time, they returned it to me broken. This is really awesome when two of your three jobs require the internet and/or applications on your laptop. Even more frustrating is that they don't give a shit when you are unable to use your laptop. And really, why would they? It's not like you really matter to their bottom line. So yeah, I sent in my laptop and they informed me it would take a day or two to fix and they would overnight it back to me. I log in today, day 4, to check status. They are "awaiting a part" and will update me when they receive it. Well, that's great and all, but if your job is nothing but fixing computer.. shouldn't you have all needed parts there?

My nose piercing is slightly funky right now. I want a smaller diamond and for it to not be red anymore. I've been putting hydrogen peroxide gel on it a few times a day so it shouldn't be much longer until it's 100% healed. I still can't believe I pierced my nose. How decidedly un-Deidre of me.

Since my surgery is behind me now, I have to start getting back into my gym routine. No more excuses! If I can't get to the gym, I have to run on the running thingy-ma-jig while watching tv.

Speaking of tv: so into the elections. Most of my friends hate election years but I get really hopeful and excited. I am so ready to get Bush out of office that I welcome (almost) anyone. I'm standing behind Obama right now, which is probably not a surprise to anyone that knows me. I was trying very hard to be pro Clinton but her personality leaves me disinterested. I can't believe this will be the second election year in a row that I've voted Democrat. Kerry was so not a good option but I had to vote for him so there was a chance to get Bush out. That didn't work out so well. My Obama bumper stickers should be on their way to me and yes, I'm going to pop one of those puppies on my car.
