my favorite!!!

i have such a crush on owls. it started last year around thanksgiving. simple purchases of owls to adorn the christmas tree, admiring owls on the nature channel, thinking about how cute owls are in general. they are freaking cute! anyway, last night look what we found in our backyard.

is it not the cutest thing you've ever seen? it sorta reminds me of a guinea pig with wings.. i didn't expect them to be so small in person.
